Megan Stearman Photography » blog

Why hello, my name is Megan and I was born and raised in Louisville, Ky., before moving to Bowling Green to attend Western Kentucky University.  After 5 years of college and a degree in photojournalism, I have worked closely with the WKU Swimming & Diving team and Olympic gold-medalist Claire Donahue along with the Bowling Green Hot Rods – minor league class A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

In 2014, a dream came true and I was hired on as the lead photographer for the WKU Athletics department covering all sports.  I am one lucky gal to have the opportunity to travel with the teams along with having the best seat in the house for all the action for my alma mater.

I am currently living back in my home town working at Saint Xavier High School (Go Tigers!) and living the dream with three little fur babies at home.

When I am not taking pictures, I enjoy playing or watching any type of sports.  My love for sports is what brought me to photography in the first place.  Recently, I have traveled to shoot the Indianapolis Grand Prix, US National Men’s Olympic Qualifier for soccer, US National women’s team in Pennsylvania, the Music City Bowl and the Bahamas Bowl and the Olympic Trials for USA Swimming.

I am available for hire for a variety of photography needs and am able to shoot sports portraits and action, family portraits, engagement sessions, maternity photos, weddings and other events.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.  I hope you enjoy!
