It is always a blessing when friends ask you to photograph a special moment in their lives and I have always enjoyed stepping back from sports photography and trying something I don’t normally get to photograph in portraits. After spending the morning with these two, I can easily see how people become addicted to portrait photography and yearn for more.
Walking into the shoot, I was a little nervous solely because I was covering a couple of friends and you never know the comfort level of people once they step in front of the lens. I couldn’t have asked for two better subjects, not only were they comfortable in front of the camera, I believe their love for each other and their personalities show in all of these images.
