Softball Region Championships

Playoffs in the run to the state championship has to be one of my favorite times of the year.  Emotions run so high for both teams participating and it is a time where the athletes and coaches leave it all on the line. Last night I covered two high school softball region championship games and it was a blast.  The weather was perfect, heavy clouds that provided a good overcast sky and a nice cool breeze.

A little mishap away from the sport action put a dent in the evening.  I took a break from shooting and in the time lost my wallet – thankfully, someone happen to turn it in to the press-box.  However, when it was turned in, it was turned in empty.  Minus the money bandit, it was an excellent night of shooting.

Please take a moment and check out some of the pictures in this slideshow and view the whole galleries by clicking the links below.  As always, thank you for visiting my site and taking a look at my work and if you know of an athlete and would like to make a request for pictures please don’t hesitate to contact me.
